Your Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern C2S or instrumentation Engineer to support our flight test team for an upcoming aircraft flight test campaign. In this role, you will be responsible for support the designing of a state-of-the-art telemetry control station/room that efficiently gathers and manages telemetry data during the flight test campaign. Your primary focus will be on gathering requirements from stakeholders and perform specific tasks to support designing the layout of workstations, and ensuring seamless power and data connectivity from the telemetry network. Your main point of contact will be the instrumentation engineers and the flight test engineers in the Flight Test team.


  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders from the flight test engineering team, including test pilots, telemetry engineers, and other relevant personnel, to comprehensively understand their telemetry control room needs.
  • Control Room Design support: Utilize your knowledge and expertise to create a layout that optimizes space utilization, ergonomics, and ensures smooth workflow during the flight test campaign.
  • Workstation Design: Design workstations within the GS and control room, taking into consideration the specific needs of different team members and the equipment they will use. Ensure an organized and efficient setup to enhance productivity.
  • Power and Data Networks: Plan and implement strategies for power and data distribution throughout the control room, ensuring that all workstations have reliable access to the telemetry network and necessary resources.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with the flight test engineering team to integrate telemetry hardware, software, and GUI tools into the control room setup, enabling real-time data monitoring and analysis.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations in the design and implementation of the telemetry room, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all team members.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the telemetry control room design, including layouts, equipment specifications, and technical details, for future reference and improvements.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control room systems to identify and resolve any potential issues as part of V&V processes.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the workplace and IT teams to ensure on-time assembly of the telemetry ground station.


  • Bachelor's degree in communication and electronics engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in telemetry control rooms or similar projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of data visualization systems including GUI.
  • Knowledge in network engineering, CCNA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using design software and tools for creating layouts and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to address technical challenges.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Duration: This is a temporary position, initial 6-months contract during preparations for the flight test campaign.
