In a Nutshell

This internship offers unique practical experience in the digital marketing field of Design Hotels—one of hospitality’s leading companies—putting you at the forefront of today’s complex acquisition, conversion, and retention marketing initiatives. You will be a key player, responsible for management support of various digital campaign activities within our Digital Experience, Creative, and Content departments. In this exciting role, you will acquire unique skills in the digital project management realm that put you on the forefront of travel and hospitality innovation/trends and that are highly sought after in the marketplace.

  • Opening: July / August 2024
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Compensation: EUR 520 / month
  • The internship must be a compulsory part of the study program

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Creating and implementing new hotels, promotions, culture journal articles and further related landing pages on Designhotels.com
  • Reviewing, coordinating assets, and uploading updates on existing website content; including the coordination of visuals and texts for website pages.
  • Learning various aspects of Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital project management tools
  • Supporting with website optimization including conducting tests and analyzing performance via various online analytics tools
  • Setting-up, optimizing, and weekly monitoring of Google Ads campaigns
  • Supporting with SEO and website development related projects
  • Analyzing performance and reporting of services via various online analytics tools, including Google Analytics
  • Creating Keynote presentations on digital marketing initiatives that are then presented to hotels
  • Market and competitive research and analysis (website activities, marketing campaigns, newsletters, and user flows)
  • Organizational and administrative support of the department
  • Preparing of meetings, keeping of minutes and follow ups
Experience & Mindset
  • Strong affinity for marketing or digital marketing
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills - German is not required
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills (task management)
  • Proactive team player that shows initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience working with Keynote (bonus, not required)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS (bonus, not required)
  • Content Management System experience (bonus, not required)
  • Google Analytics experience (bonus, not required)
