Then become part of our team and swap gray theory for colorful practical experience! Get to know the day-to-day work of a press spokesperson at Mercedes-Benz and take the opportunity to gain an insight into the media work of an international company and actively help shape it.

The Drivetrain Technologies team focuses on the communication of all strategic topics of conventional drive systems, electromobility (charging technologies, e-motors, batteries, Eco Coach App) as well as regulatory and emission-related topics.

Within Global Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans, the Technology Communications department is responsible for all strategic topics relating to electromobility, autonomous driving and far-reaching safety aspects, innovations & research as well as the Board of Management communications of the Mercedes-Benz Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With our understanding of PR, we pursue an integrative approach that serves not only traditional media but also other target groups, from investors to end customers.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of media appointments and events
• Creating and editing articles and texts for various channels
• Assisting with the conception and implementation of TV and video productions
• Assisting with the processing of press inquiries, creating question and answer
• Answer catalogs (Q&As), briefings, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
• Monitoring and documenting media coverage of Mercedes-Benz and competitors
• Researching and preparing figures, data and facts

All tasks are carried out in close exchange of information with international press and market colleagues.

Our requirements:

• Degree in Communication Sciences, Business Administration / Economics, Public Relations, Humanities or Social Sciences or a comparable course of study
• Internship duration of at least 6 months
• Confident handling of MS Office and social media
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Strategic way of working and communication skills
• Class B driving license
• Enjoyment and experience in writing texts an advantage
