Internship in Project Coordination - Focus Offering & Pricing Mercedes-Benz Charging Network Europe from September 2024

Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG (MBM) is a division of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and, with around 10,000 employees, specializes in financial and mobility services. The offering ranges from financing, leasing, vehicle subscriptions and rental, fleet management to digital services relating to charging and payment, insurance brokerage and innovative mobility services.
This year, Mercedes-Benz Mobility will once again focus on the 5 strategic dimensions of MBM 2025, one of which is Electrify our Future. On the way to "electric only", charging is a decisive factor. We want charging at Mercedes-Benz to become a special customer experience. In order to establish this holistic charging ecosystem as quickly as possible, we have set up a new Charging Unit at MBM, which is responsible for developing and supporting innovative customer solutions for charging in and outside the vehicle. The unit consists of three pillars: charging at home, charging in a business context with electric vehicle fleets and public charging.

We are looking for an intern to support us in setting up the charging network.

We work closely together across teams and departments - within the Charging Unit and with our colleagues in all functions such as Sales, Development, Finance & Controlling, IT and Marketing. Your tasks:

As part of our motivated team, you will support us with the following tasks, among others

• Performing market analyses and screenings to identify trends and price developments that contribute to the optimization of the High Power Charging network and to ensure the competitiveness of our offering
• Supporting the expansion and optimization of our sales channels across the European markets
• Collaboration in the operational & strategic business of the Charging Unit
• Preparation of communication and presentation documents for specialist and management committees
• Carrying out and evaluating analyses
• Planning, organization and implementation of events such as workshops, trade fairs and events

• Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, business informatics or a comparable degree with a focus on economics
• Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Confident handling of MS Office, a solid basic understanding of IT and a willingness to learn a lot of new things
• Interest and passion for eMobility
• Ideally basic knowledge of charging and initial experience in project management
• Initiative, analytical and conceptual skills, communication and teamwork skills, good time management and a structured approach to work
