Job Description

Design and Execute Experiments: Plan, perform, and analyze experiments while contributing to the overall project strategy

Lead an Independent Project: Drive a project that will form the foundation of your master’s thesis

Master B Cell Biology: Receive guidance from your supervisor to develop a deep understanding of B cell biology

Learn New Technologies and Methods: Expand your technical skills with support from your team

Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work alongside a diverse, international team of biologists, immunologists, and chemists to create innovative solutions and products

Publish Scientific Findings: Gain the opportunity to publish your research in high-impact scientific journals

Qualifications

• You are an enrolled student and hold or expect to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology or related discipline by the start of your employment.
• You are eager to learn new technologies and are passionate about science.
• You are familiar with the magnetic isolation of immune cells from blood and blood-derived products.
• You have experience in the culturing of human immune cells.
• You possess a basic understanding of B cell immunology.
• You have experience of planning and conducting complex multiparameter experiments or are highly motivated to develop these skills.
• You are comfortable working independently as well as collaborating in a team.
• You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in English.
• Your workplace is Bergisch Gladbach.
