Who we are looking for.

We are seeking a candidate to be part of the Financing Solutions team for the duration of 12-24 months. Financing Solutions is a key focus and growth area for the bank and the successful candidate will spend their time learning about Financing Solutions business with a hands-on approach as well as getting exposure to other business areas within State Street’s Markets business and the overall global product offering. We are looking to bring in the next generation of talent to learn and contribute ideas to enhance their development and expand our remit and a growing business.

Why this role is important to us.

State Street’s Financing Solutions business runs one of the world’s largest Agency Lending Programs with trading desks around the globe. In addition, we do offer state-of-the-art Repo and Prime Services solutions to our customers making the desk a key player in the securities financing space. We are currently massively expanding our continental European footprint and are looking for a working student who can support this growth by bringing in own ideas and suggestions as well as helping to process daily tasks within the team. This role is an important part of our ambitious growth strategy. You will become a full member of the Frankfurt team while also interacting with the wider product group globally and increase State Street’s Financing Solutions footprint.

What you will be responsible for

As a working student, you will

· Actively support client managers in servicing clients by performing the assigned day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc initiatives

· Support client strategy by preparing presentations, revenue estimates, ad-hoc reports, benchmarking data, etc. for clients.

· Work on and optimize existing marketing material

· Help in analyzing factors impacting clients’ lending performance

· Oversee process to update clients’ program parameters on systems and assist in reviewing correct client lending profiles

· Conduct oversight of certain client specific arrangements of operational/service nature.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

· Working towards a relevant Bachelor or Masters degree.

· Knowledge of and preferably initial experience in financial markets

· English fluency is required; additional foreign language skills are beneficial
