The Master’s program in Digital Transformation qualifies students to take on leading roles in digital transformation projects. The focus is on the technical perspective, particularly software engineering, digital systems, and the related processes, methods, and tools. Students learn how to design and develop complex digital solutions in interdisciplinary and international contexts.
The program provides competencies in developing complex software systems, applying user-centered design methods, using modern software engineering tools, and leading cross-domain digital projects. The four-semester structure combines a two-semester teaching and training phase with industry case studies and lectures, followed by a research and project phase including electives and a Master’s thesis. International and project-oriented components complement the curriculum.
Graduates pursue careers in software and IT companies, start-ups, the mobility sector, or research institutions. The Master of Science degree opens up a wide range of career opportunities in industry, consulting, research, and the public sector and also provides a foundation for a cooperative doctoral degree.
