Student - Software QA

A Moving Experience.

Your tasks:

• Flashing/updating embedded software into target head units.

• Maintain test setups for embedded components (testbench and car)

• Reproduce issues and verify fixes in test environment in collaboration with the system developers 

• Automate features in Python/Java

• Enhance test automation framework for support of new features and improve test efficiency

• Analyze test results along with failure analysis, utilizes fact / data driven metrics to continuous improve test efficiency and effectiveness

• Review product requirement, user experience specification, technical design specification for testability.

• Develop test plan and test case for specific project

• Conduct test plan/cases review with cross-functional teams to ensure the test coverage

• Build and maintain requirement / test case/ test result traceability matrix

• Collaborate with multiple teams in different continents

• Escalate issues, concerns and risk

Your profile:

• Enrolled student in computer science, engineering or related experience

• Very good programming skills in Python/Java and understanding of object oriented concepts

• Excellent analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria

• Very good problem-solving skills and strong self-reliance

• Good attention to detail, interpersonal communication and project management skills

• Very good team player

• Self-motivated, responsible, accountable and have the discipline to bring projects into closure

Preferred skills:

• Experience working in organizations using Agile / Scrum based product development methodologies is preferred

• Expert level familiarity with Wiki-based tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage product planning and issue planning and resolution

• Experienced in dealing with ambiguity while performing critical project steps

• Experience with Jenkins
