Internship in the area of battery raw materials purchasing and strategic market development from September/October 2024

We, the Raw Materials - Procurement and Strategic Market Development team, are responsible for the procurement of strategically relevant raw materials and the strategic market development of raw materials. We communicate, coordinate and negotiate with national and international suppliers in order to secure supply chains in the long term.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Participation in the negotiation with national and international suppliers regarding prices and contract conditions
• Preparation of negotiation results, creation of management presentations and visualization of key figures for the preparation of management decisions for awarding contracts
• Collaboration in the development of commodity and supplier strategies
• Data maintenance in the supporting IT systems
• Collaboration in cross-functional strategy projects at management level

• Degree in business chemistry, geology, mineralogy, geosciences, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Power Point
• Analytical way of thinking, structured and independent way of working
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Conscientiousness, reliability and confident appearance
