Despite controversial discussions, the combustion engine remains a central drive concept in global mobility. On behalf of the automotive industry, IAV develops innovative diesel engines that meet the highest requirements in terms of emissions, fuel consumption and driving behavior. We are looking for you to support us with test work on modern engine test benches and vehicles!

Your tasks:

•  You prepare test carriers.
• You will support the execution of measurement tasks and carry them out independently.
• You evaluate and present results.
• You will develop and maintain tools.
• You will work with test and protocol parts.
• You manage and document knowledge.
• - You enjoy your work.

Necessary skills:

• Ongoing studies in the fields of computer science, business informatics or mechanical engineering, ideally with a specialization in combustion engines, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study
• Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
• Confident with Excel and PowerPoint, including the creation of macros
• Strong interest in challenging development tasks
• Class B driving license

Desired Skills:

• Sound knowledge of programming in MATLAB or other common programming languages
• Goal-oriented and independent way of working and ability to work in a team
• Tool affinity 
• You have at least 1 year until your final thesis.
