Compulsory internship in the area of planning mechanical processing and material flow from August/ September 2024

The heart of the automobile beats at the Untertürkheim plant. The Powertrain & Chassis divisions located here produce axle parts as well as cast and forged parts for vehicles, engines and transmissions and therefore represent the greatest added value at the Stuttgart site. The steel and aluminum products can be found in almost all powertrain units as well as in many current and future (electric) vehicle series.

In the Production Planning Structural Parts Powertrain & Chassis department, the production areas of die casting, gravity casting, forging and mechanical processing from the Production Planning Structural Parts Powertrain & Chassis department - we are making production fit for the future!

The internship takes place in Production Planning in the Mechanical Processing and Material Flow team. Our team carries out new planning and retrofits or conversions to integrate new production lines and products and supports preliminary planning in the technical and economic evaluation of new products and projects.

You will face these challenges:

• Supporting the team in intralogistics/material flow planning
• Supporting the team in the planning and construction of systems up to the operational handover to the production area
• General administrative activities, process optimization based on technical data
• Communication with internal and external partners

Please note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.

• Degree in industrial engineering, technical business administration, mechanical engineering or similar
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
