Your job

What you do

• Write analytical and descriptive texts based on statistics and thematic dossiers related to various French and international sectors. 
• Assisting the team leader in the selection of content to be featured on the French platform.  
• Assisting in development of the content calendar for the French platform. 
• Assisting the team leader in project management for the development of Statista in the French market.

Your skills

Who you are

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies (preferable focus on journalism, psychology or sociology) or with a mandatory internship as part of curriculum.
• Available to start the internship from June 2024
• Interested in writing and researching data; you want to participate in the development of a fact-based independent media.
• Native or near-native French and good English skills, other languages an advantage.
• Strong interest in French and international news, with big-picture perspective.
• You are driven by curiosity, learning about society, economic, media or business topics.
• You work in a result-oriented manner, are driven to “get things done” and show a practical, hands-on approach.
• You have strong writing skills and know how to catch the attention of your readers (in French).
• First experience in copy writing, journalism or in a news room is beneficial.
