Working student position in the Interior/Cockpit Development department from August 2024

The RD/KIC department is responsible for the development of the interior components cockpit, glove compartment, center console, door trim, air vents and kinematics for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, making a significant contribution to the luxury standards of our brand.

Your tasks will include

• Support in the preparation of vehicle bodies (e.g. for testing and crash sled tests) with a focus on the interior - cockpit, center console and door trim
• Scheduling and coordination of vehicles for service trips and tests
• Processing of component tests from commissioning to implementation
• Researching and analyzing components as part of benchmarking (internal and external)
• Documenting the results in the respective systems
• Further development and collaboration on improvement processes with regard to documentation and digitalization

• Degree with a focus on automotive engineering, plastics technology, vehicle construction, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
• Experience gained during your studies through internships or working student activities
• Good technical understanding and a high affinity for the product
• Language skills: German, English
• IT skills: MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Personal skills: quick comprehension, ability to work in a team, proactivity
• Duration of assignment: at least 1 year
• Working hours: 14 to 18 hours per week
