In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we are shaping the automobile generations of the future. We are already working today on vehicles that will secure Mercedes-Benz's technological leadership in the future. Our RD/EDS department is responsible for the development and integration of software for modern drive control units. Software from us can be found on every Mercedes-Benz vehicle currently sold worldwide. Due to our diverse and responsible tasks, we are looking for you!

As Software ECU Project Manager, we are responsible for the steering and development of software in terms of maturity, deadlines and costs. We are a collegial, motivated team with varied and exciting tasks and would be delighted if you could enrich us with your commitment and personality.

We attach great importance to communicating with each other directly and at eye level in regular meetings. It is also important to us that we deal with each other constructively and honestly. We make regular use of mobile working.

We are currently in the process of further digitalizing and optimizing our development process. You will face these challenges, among others

• Agile further development & testing of a young IT tool for cost management in a team
• Interfaces with development, purchasing, suppliers and cost planning
• Independently contributing ideas for the digitalization of cost management
• Coordinating and organizing training courses and workshops
• Setting up and designing tool support

• Degree program with a technical focus (e.g. business informatics / computer science / automotive engineering / electrical engineering / mechatronics / industrial engineering / ...) or a comparable degree program
• Proficient in written and spoken German
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Knowledge of JavaScript programming / object-oriented programming languages available
• Proactive commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
