Working Student - Market Data + Services / Customer Compliance (f/m/d)

Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services provides financial market participants around the world with proprietary market data from Deutsche Börse Group’s Xetra and Eurex trading platforms, as well as with data from our cooperation partners. Our clients include analysts, algo traders, banks, hedge funds, asset managers, mid- and back-office professionals and vendors who rely on high-quality, reliable information to make investment and trading decisions, manage risk, safeguard assets, and meet increasing regulatory requirements. 
We are looking for a working student (f/m/d) within the Market Data + Services Customer Compliance Unit. In this role you will assist with the Market Data Reporting of our customers to ensure a correct and on-time delivery of the monthly declarations.

Your responsibilities:

• You will support the Customer Compliance Reporting function with the daily business operations and data analysis, including the verification of Customer Reporting contacts, to ensure an efficient communication
• You will assist with conducting customer account reviews aimed to ensure the monthly Reporting received is in line with the contractual requirements
• You will continuously help reviewing significant changes within the monthly Reporting and identify relevant cases for further investigation
• You will run database queries to support the daily activities, conduct ad hoc analysis to assist with ensuring the correctness of the Reporting data provided
• You will carry out account reconciliation of Direct Reporting Customers and Sub-Vendor Reports

Your profile:

• You will be enrolled during the entire period of the role at a state-recognized university and are a regular student who has completed at least 2 semesters. (Your focus of Study should be in the field of economics, finance, business studies or other relevant fields)
• You have strong analytical, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
• You like to work cooperatively in teams, but you can also quickly take on your own responsibility and work independently
• Your communication skills both orally and in writing allow you to work both well in a team and communicate with external customers
• You have good knowledge in MS Office applications, in particular MS Excel, as well as experience with data analysis
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in German will be an asset
