Working student position in the field of electrical/electronic hardware protection from September 2024

In our team "Safeguarding E/E Hardware" we combine first-class electrical and mechanical measurement and analysis methods, which are used for preventive and reactive safeguarding of the reliability and robustness of the electrical and electronic systems in our vehicles.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a working student with a strong technical understanding to carry out tests on electrical contacts using existing electromechanical measuring and testing equipment.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Familiarization with the existing measurement technology
• Independently carrying out tests to characterize electrical contacts under various mechanical conditions
• Evaluation of the measurement results obtained
• New development and adaptation of test setups for new analysis requirements
• Support with readjustment tests for failure and fault analysis

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar
• Experience in writing technical documentation in German
• Strong basic technical and physical understanding
• Experience in setting up simple electrical circuits
• Experience in electrical measurement technology in combination with digital data acquisition
• Knowledge of operating data analysis software such as DIAdem, Matlab, OriginLab, Excel, etc.
• Very good written German language skills
