Who exactly are we and what do we do?

We are the staff team of the "Charging & HV System" development area and work directly with our Center Manager. Our department deals with all topics relating to the charging experience on the vehicle and the underlying high-voltage system, from hardware charging components to software (charging) functions in the vehicle and digital ecosystem to issues of high-voltage safety and electromagnetic compatibility.

You will experience the Mercedes-Benz brand at first hand and work on essential topics to realize our "Lead In Electric" strategy. As an intern in our staff team, you will have the opportunity to gain exciting and comprehensive insights into the day-to-day business of Mercedes-Benz employees and managers at our Research & Development Campus in Sindelfingen.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Participation in the day-to-day operations of the staff team as well as conceptual and strategic tasks
• Cross-functional coordination with the areas of development, sales, controlling, etc.
• Support in the implementation, preparation and follow-up of cross-functional committees
• Preparation and design of management presentations
• Conception and management of internal communication such as the social intranet presence
• Application of agile working methods in a cross-functional, international and motivated working environment
• Conception and preparation of workshops, events, cultural events and other measures as part of organizational development, such as impulses on the topics of Lean & Agile
• Assumption of special tasks

• Degree course in communication design, information design, media/communication sciences, business administration/economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or similar
• Initial experience in project management
• Familiarity with BI tools, survey tools such as Mentimeter, Sharepoints an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Power Point, Outlook, Teams and Excel
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
