Compulsory internship in the field of control of high-performance AFM electric motors from October 2024

Our inner drive is to design the best powertrain of the future! In our center, we control the drive systems of Mercedes-Benz and thus all units, from the combustion engine and transmission to the electric motor and battery. In the exciting phase of technological change, we manage the Powertrain and e-Drive product projects across all departments in line with our motto "We drive the Star".

We in the "AFM Product Project Management" team play a central role in this and are looking for reinforcement.

In the interface function between development, production, purchasing, quality, sales and business administration, you can expect interesting and varied activities as well as unique insights into the product development process for electric drive systems.

Your tasks in our "AFM product project management" team:

• You are part of our team and play an active role in our tasks
• You will carry out interesting and varied project management activities and gain insights into the product development process
• You will work on individual projects in close coordination with the project teams, sub-project managers and strategic project managers
• You will be responsible for the overall organization and moderation of project workshops and project manager meetings, giving you in-depth insights into the working methods and topics of the respective sub-projects as well as contact with many employees in the company
• You coordinate cross-functional topics between the specialist departments
• You will be involved in the creation and coordination of presentations that are presented at team/department/division and board level
• Expect interesting special tasks and use your expertise where it is needed
• Would you like to design a process in the project differently? Then go for it! Contribute suggestions for improvement and present them to your team or department

• You have an affinity for the automotive industry and are studying business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study
• You are business fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English
• You are flexible in terms of working hours and location
• You are confident in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Personal skills:

• You have a high level of comprehension, are reliable and proactive, open and communicative
• You are characterized by an analytical mindset and a strategic way of working
• You are an absolute team player and like to drive new ideas forward independently
• Loyalty and honest and open interaction within the team are a matter of course for you

Please note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.
