Internship in Project Management Development SUV (GLE/GLS) from October 2024

At the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center, we are shaping the automobile generations of the future. This is where the brand's technical expertise is concentrated at the Sindelfingen Complete Vehicle Development and Untertürkheim (engine and powertrain development) sites. The core tasks of our center at the Sindelfingen site include complete vehicle design, complete vehicle testing and development project management. As development project managers, we coordinate and control the entire development process of the SUV (GLE/GLS) in series production, the modification years and model updates with a focus on Maturity level, deadlines and costs. We represent the interests of the series across all divisions.

Your tasks in detail:

• Assistance in the supervision of vehicle development topics
• Collaboration in project management as well as in the development and implementation of defined project goals, especially in maturity tracking
• Driving forward and deciding on specialist topics in cooperation with the specialist departments, taking into account the project premises
• Assisting with the creation of top management presentation documents

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical way of thinking, strategic and careful way of working, confident appearance, communication skills
• Enthusiasm for the automobile
