Working student position in the field of development of e-transmissions and hybrid dual-clutch transmissions mechanics, project management of Mercedes-Benz passenger car development from October 2024

Our department deals with the testing of mechanical components of hybrid dual-clutch transmissions and e-drives. This includes the components wheelset, internal gearshift, multi-plate clutches, synchronizers, oil management and e-machines.

Your tasks will include

• Analyzing vehicle and test bench measurements
• Planning, carrying out and evaluating measurements on component and complete transmission test benches
• Documentation and presentation of the investigations and analysis
• Collaboration in project management

Professional qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of study
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, Excel evaluations, creation of graphics
• Practical, manual experience, preferably practical vocational training

Personal skills:

• Ability to work in a team, structured way of working

Other:

• Previous knowledge of measurement technology desirable, class B driver's license desirable
