Internship in the field of assembly planning from October 2024

As assembly planners, we centrally plan all future Mercedes-Benz passenger cars worldwide and work closely with development, production and other business partners. A smooth assembly process and the optimization of all processes in terms of time, quality and costs are of the highest priority, so that our high standards can be guaranteed.

During your internship, you will gain an insight into the complex planning and assembly processes, including the design and procurement of equipment and handling devices and the necessary influence on the products in order to ensure assembly-friendly processes.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Developing proposals for process and product optimization
• Designing and optimizing equipment and handling devices, including testing
• Digital transformation in assembly planning

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
• Good communication skills
