Exciting challenges await you in your final thesis or student work in the area of ​​electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electric drives. The goal is to expand and optimize our EMV virtual development workflow with new tools.

One focus of the possible tasks is on the development of data interfaces for generating EMC reference data for driver assistance systems (ADAS). Alternatively, you can identify critical points in a 3D model of a traction inverter and further develop this model. In addition, with us you have extensive design options and can shape the future of e-mobility with your skills and knowledge.

Your Tasks:

• Expansion and optimization of existing simulation models and tools
• Development of data interfaces to generate reference data for ADAS
• Identification of critical points in the 3D model of a traction inverte
• Analysis and optimization of processes to validate the models

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing study of electrical engineering, mechatronics or related engineering fields.

• Very good knowledge of German and good English, both spoken and written.

Desired Skills:

• An advantage: previous experience with simulation, high-frequency technology or EMC.

• Independent work coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
