Thesis in the field of power electronics development from October 2024

The RD/EEE (Mercedes-Benz Inverter System) department develops power electronics and e-motors throughout the Group.

You will face these challenges:

• Literature research on measurement principles of current sensors for highly integrated power inverters
• Evaluation of sensor concepts and current trends with regard to function and integration
• Development and construction of functional samples
• Commissioning of the test setup on a high-current test bench
• Verification of the sensors using measurements on the test bench
• Comparison and final evaluation of the results

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working

The final topic will be determined in consultation with the university, you and us.
