We are a cross-center department in the component area RD/K in passenger car development, which deals with all planning and control issues relating to interior, exterior, body shell and safety. This includes vehicle components such as bumpers, headlights, body shells through to control units and seats, whether A-Class or S-Class.

A major focus of the tasks lies in the planning and control of supplier development costs. Among other things, this involves analyzing and managing the development-side awards to suppliers for efficient cost planning.

These are some of the challenges you will face

• Preparation and creation of overarching planning and controlling documents (presentations & decision papers)
• Administrative support in the planning and control of supplier development costs
• Preparing, checking and creating supplier orders
• Creating controlling evaluations in SAP/Excel
• Maintenance of planning and control tools and independent further development
• Collaboration on current projects and support in operational tasks
• Constant exchange of information for the management of supplier allocations with various departments in Development and Purchasing

• Degree program: Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, business administration, business informatics or a comparable degree program
• Language skills: Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office
• Personal skills: High conceptual competence, strong goal and result orientation, strong communication skills, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Other: Good technical understanding and high affinity for the product
