Working Student Operational Procurement EN/DE

We are seeking aWorking Student in Operational Procurement EN/DE (m/f/d) to join the Procurement team at KWS Berlin GmbH starting in October 2024. This role offers 20 hours per week, initially limited to one year with the possibility of extending for an additional year, based in Berlin. As a Working Student, you will gain practical experience and insights into operational procurement, while also learning how automation and data analytics influence procurement processes and organizational strategies.

This will be your challenge:

• Supporting the GTC procurement team in day-to-day business with a focus on ordering (processing purchase requisitions and orders)
• Answering user and supplier queries on all purchasing-related topics
• Collaborating with colleagues from operational purchasing and the IT department to ensure continuous process improvement and simplification through standardization, digitization, and automation of the end-to-end source-to-pay process.

Bring in your strengths:

• You are currently enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with at least 1 year (2 semesters) left in your studies.
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken), additional EU language skills are a plus.
• Passion for problem solving and learning new technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong analytical and structured working approach, along with excellent communication skills.
