We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Master thesis in the area of LLM / LMM Agents. Our team industrializes emerging technologies for production. During the incubation phase, new technologies are validated regarding their value contribution in various use cases at the BMW Group. What awaits you?

• In your new role you will focus on optimizing pieces of an AI agent workflow to improve overall accuracy and reliability.
• You will generalize solutions and contribute code to an internal benchmarking platform.
• Furthermore, you will independently develop various test scenarios in which you can evaluate and optimize the different language models and prompts for specific use cases. 
• In addition you will work in an interdisciplinary team in close cooperation with university partners.

Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.

What should you bring along? 

• You are studying computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field of study. 
• Willingness to deal with the latest technologies independently and to implement theory in code-based solution. 
• Knowledge of classic software development (especially Python), databases, version control, and operating systems.
• First experience with Natural Language Processing.
• Experience working in shared code base.
• Very good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent scientific writing and very good knowledge of english.
