What we do
The Merantix AI Campus is the world’s largest AI community and co-working hub. Located in the heart of Berlin and spanning across 6000 sqm, the AI Campus is the home of over 70 companies, investors, public and research organisations and startups. Now, we are looking for a driven community and operations professional for a maternity leave cover for 10-12 months.
About Merantix and the Merantix AI Campus
Merantix is a group of AI-first organisations and initiatives. Our mission is to drive AI adoption in Europe, and we achieve this by: 1) Investing in and building the AI category leaders through the Merantix AI Fund, 2). Developing AI-enabled solutions for various industries through Merantix Momentum. 3) Leading the dialogue on AI adoption and connecting AI stakeholders through Merantix AI Campus.
As part of the third Merantix pillar, the Merantix AI Campus is the leading community for uniting key AI stakeholders and the largest AI co-working space in Europe, fostering collaborative environment, transparency and exchange. Since 2021, the Merantix AI Campus has championed the power of multidisciplinary collaboration by providing a state-of-the-art platform for co-working, collaboration, and events, covering everything from deeply technical topics to business, ethics, and regulations. We’ve started to grow internationally with pop-ups in Basel and London, we also co-initiated the AI House 2024 at the World Economic Forum, featuring 180+ speakers and 5,000 attendees. And we’re just getting started!
Your role
As a Content & Marketing Intern, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting our marketing team with creating engaging media content and optimizing our digital presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual who is passionate about content creation, social media, and AI. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting our marketing team in creating media content and posts that entertain, inform, and provide value.
- Collaborating on the multimedia preparation for event promotions, and creating post-event materials (like posters, event descriptions, social media posts, photos, video recordings, and snippets.)
- Conducting data analyses and generating insights to monitor and optimize content performance, while establishing KPIs for content strategies.
- Working on diverse content projects, including the planning, producing, and recording small video sequences and interview setups for social media platforms.
- Managing and creating insightful media content (text, images, and possibly video) to keep our community engaged.
- Assisting with longer written pieces of content related to AI, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Actively contributing your own ideas to enhance our social media presence and branding efforts.
- Working closely with the marketing team to execute branding and marketing strategies.
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in graphic design, film & photography, communication design, media technology, or a related field.
- You are experienced with common design and production tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, AfterEffects, Canva, Figma, etc.
- You are highly engaged with social media and have a strong passion for content production (photos, videos, etc.).
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You work in a structured and independent manner, eager to tackle new challenges.
- You are enthusiastic about AI, tech, and topics such as digitalization, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- You are comfortable with project management tools like Notion.
- You have solid knowledge of content creation, graphic design, social media, and video production.
