Job Description
For our central department for purchasing of logistics services at our location in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, we are looking for interested and motivated interns starting from 01.01.2025 for a 6-month internship. Our department is responsible for the purchasing of external logistics services like transports (airfreight, seafreight, overland transports), packaging materials and warehouses for the Bosch Group worldwide. Our headquarter in Stuttgart-Feuerbach is steering the global organization and defining the purchasing strategies. We offer an international and innovative working environment, a strategic overview, and a high number of interfaces to internal and external business partners.
- From day one, you will support the further development of purchasing and supplier strategies, especially in the area of purchasing at Warehouse Service.
- We involve you in international tender and you will independently take over projects in the area of purchasing processes, purchasing controlling and in the development of standards.
- You will support strategic projects such as global framework agreements, purchasing processes, prolongations for running projects as well as the purchasing management and our digitalization strategy.
- You will focus on project management incl. preparation of management reviews, supplier appointments, etc. and on the development of automated purchasing processes.
- Finally, you will assist with our national and international buyers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and India.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in (technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Development or comparable with a focus on purchasing, logistics, supply chain management
- Experience and Knowledge: competent handling of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), experience with PowerBI or comparable IT solutions would be a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: an independent and communicative individual, who has a structured way of working
- Language: very good in English, basic in German is a plus

Start: January 2025
Duration: 6 months
