As a premium development service provider for the automotive industry, among others, we are involved in numerous projects in the development of autonomous driving functions for vehicles of the future. For our customers, we develop AI-based models and functions in all areas necessary for the implementation of an autonomous driving vehicle based on a wide variety of data.

Your Tasks:

• Familiarization with the IAV development environment and procedures
• Research and development of AI / machine learning methods, algorithms and models
• Conceptualization and software design
• Implementation of the software/function in Python or C/C++
• Visualization and presentation of your results and findings
• Software testing on IAV's own vehicle prototypes
• Documentation

Following the internship, you will also have the opportunity to write your final thesis with us.

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing studies in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a comparable STEM degree program
• Practical experience in programming with Python and/or C/C++
• Practical experience in the field of AI / machine learning
• Willingness to learn new things and develop yourself further
• High sense of responsibility
• Reliability and an independent, structured way of working
• English and/or German to at least C1 level

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current monthly salary for this position is EUR 979. From February 2025, the monthly salary for this position will be EUR 1,012.
