The Mercedes-Benz Technology Center at the Sindelfingen site concentrates the technical know-how of the Mercedes-Benz brand in the area of complete vehicle development.
Our team is responsible for the cost-side management of model maintenance for all Mercedes-Benz passenger car series.
Due to the interdisciplinary tasks, you will be in regular contact with related areas such as development, design, controlling, sales, purchasing and production.
In addition to cross-vehicle project coordination and the management of awarding activities, you will be responsible for preparing decision papers for management, taking into account economic and technical constraints. Work actively in our highly motivated team on the development of new vehicle generations!
You will face these challenges:
- Collaboration in the strategic project management of the new S/E/C/CLE/GLC/GLE/GLS classes
- Organization, preparation and follow-up as well as active participation in project-relevant committees
- Preparation of important decision papers for TOP management
- Implementation of methods and standards in the project business
- Actively driving project-specific topics in cooperation with related departments (development, design, controlling, sales, purchasing)
- Documentation and maintenance of costs to achieve project goals
- If required, support in the organization of special events such as product days, benchmark workshops or strategy days
- Master's degree program: Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, technically oriented economics or a comparable degree program
- Language skills: Confident written and spoken German; knowledge of English is an advantage
- IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (focus on Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), knowledge of Power BI desirable
- Personal skills: Commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical way of thinking, high level of comprehension, strategic way of working, enthusiasm for the automobile, communication skills
- Master's degree: Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, technically oriented economics or a comparable course of study
- Language skills: Confident written and spoken German; knowledge of English an advantage
- IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (focus on Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), knowledge of Power BI desirable
