ABOUT THE TEAM
The Software Asset Management team is an integral part of the IT Strategic Central Services (SCS) unit. We oversee the entire lifecycle of third-party software intended for internal use at SAP. As a component of the Strategy & Operations division, we align with the organization's strategic direction and spearhead IT transformation, software compliance, and license management.
THE ROLE
The Software Asset Management (SAM) team is currently offering an internship opportunity within the Program Management Office (PMO).
As an intern, you will support the team with various tasks and activities, contributing to the future of SAM in areas such as Communication & Branding, Skill Management, Operations, and Project Management. This internship will allow you to gain insights into transformation programs driven by the broader SAP and SCS Strategy. It provides an exceptional opportunity to experience all facets of strategic planning and execution, along with valuable insights into the workings of a large corporate IT organization.
Through this internship, you will develop knowledge in:
- Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative approaches to skill management and organizational development
- Critical thinking skills, enabling you to challenge others on delivery while maintaining strong business relationships
- Prioritization and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Student (f/m/d) currently enrolled at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Marketing / Business Administration / Communications / Management / Business Informatics /
- Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office
- Language skills: English (advanced)
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, creativity, open-mindedness, reliability, teamwork, enthusiasm, customer orientation, and self-motivation.
Internships are full-time positions, and we prefer candidates available for a duration of 5-6 months. Please note that you must be enrolled as a student at a university for the entire duration of the internship.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
