The use of generative AI continues to increase in importance in industry, and it can also be used in the simulation as well as verification and validation of functions for autonomous driving. In this field, it can be used to generate simulation scenarios. As a student assistant (m/f/d), you will work on the further development of these novel, innovative approaches for scenario generation together with our colleagues. In this role, you will be part of an agile team and will be responsible for continuously expanding the data set required for the development of AI models.

Your Tasks- Creating and generating libraries of simulation scenarios
- Creating data sets to refine our generative AI solutions for scenario generation
- Ongoing studies in a technical degree program, e.g., computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or similar
- Knowledge of programming with Python and, optionally, C/C++
- Knowledge of the following areas is desirable, but not a requirement:
- Standard file formats for data exchange, such as JSON and XML
- OpenSCENARIO and OpenDRIVE
- Experience with simulation in the field of automated driving
- Machine learning and AI
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
