Job Description
- This position offers you a unique opportunity to obtain your master’s degree while gaining insight into cutting-edge technologies for consumable cartridge development.
- Your master thesis will aim to improve assembly and functionality of a consumable cartridges for further application in cell preparation. Your work will be focussed on redesign of a microfluidic valve and the corresponding gluing process.
- You will apply bonding technology and 3D print prototyping to investigate and optimize the assembly and functionality of the cartridge. Upon completion of your training, you will independently perform experiments and data analysis.
- You will present and discuss your results with your team as well as other departments in the company.
Qualifications
- You are an enrolled student and passionate about technology and are about to begin your master's thesis in engineering or a related field.
- You have demonstrated your ability to work both independently and in an interdisciplinary team with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- You have good organizational and analytical skills.
- Your motivation, teamwork spirit and excellent written and spoken English skills complete your profile.
- First experience in experiment design, bonding technology, microfluidics, and 3D printing is a plus.
- Your workplace is Bergisch Gladbach.
