Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Uhde ist weltweit führend in der Planung und dem Bau von Anlagen für die Düngemittelindustrie. Zentrale Technologien sind die Produktion von Ammoniak, Salpetersäure und Ammoniumnitrat.

Mit der Energiewende wächst das Interesse unserer Kunden aus der Energiebranche an Ammoniak als Energieträger, insbesondere an grünem und CO-armem Ammoniak. Ergänzend entwickeln wir Prozesse zur Rückumwandlung von Ammoniak in Wasserstoff (Ammonia Cracking), um die Wasserstoffwirtschaft voranzutreiben.

In der Abteilung Technology & Innovation (TI) unterstützen Sie in der Produktpflege dieser Technologien. Unser Ziel ist die kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Prozessen und Anlagen beispielsweise durch Steigerung der Wirtschaftlichkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit sowie die Integration neuer Technologien.

Darüber hinaus wirken Sie an der Optimierung von Konzepten und Arbeitswerkzeugen mit und arbeiten dabei eng mit anderen Fachabteilungen zusammen.

• Prozesssimulationen mit AspenPlus und vergleichbaren Anwendungen
• Auswertungen von Versuchen und Simulationen
• Unterstützung bei Förderprojekten und den darin anfallenden Themen (z.B. Marktrecherche zu Düngemittel und grünen Energiemärkten)
• Allgemeine Aufgaben zu den Themen Salpetersäure, Ammoniumnitrat und Ammoniak
• Literatur- und Patentrecherche

Your profile

• Sie studieren im Bereich Chemietechnik, Verfahrenstechnik, Chemie-Ingenieurwesen oder Maschinenbau mit Vertiefung Chemie oder vergleichbare Fächer
• Sie haben Interesse an chemischen Großanlagen, an der Energiewende und grünen Ideen
• Sie sind versiert im Umgang mit MS-Office-Anwendungen
• Sie bringen erste Erfahrungen mit Prozesssimulationen z.B. mit Aspen Plus mit
• Der Umgang mit modernen elektronischen und digitalen Medien ist Ihnen vertraut
• Sie können einfache Programmierarbeiten (z.B. Python) unter Anleitung durchführen
• Sie haben Freude am Arbeiten im Team
• Sie sprechen gut Englisch

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Have you found an interesting vacancy? Then apply online. You won’t need more than 10 minutes. The entire application process – from initial contact to response – usually takes between four and six weeks.

Receipt of your application

You will receive confirmation that we have received your application – within a few minutes if you apply online; it may take a couple of days if you apply by email. Our recruiters check your application documents and get in touch with you. For some positions we will conduct a preliminary telephone interview with you.

Review by functional department

Our recruiter submits a preliminary selection of candidates to the specialist department for consideration. The department will then look closely to check whether your qualifications meet the requirements of the job.

Interview

If you are a suitable candidate for the job, we’d like to get to know you personally in an interview with the specialist department and HR. If you or we need more time, we'll invite you to a second interview.

The offer
