We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible for a period of 6 months. As an intern in Global Merchandising with a focus on Buying & Planning, you will support the global product strategy of an international fashion and lifestyle company. You will work in a central team that plans assortments worldwide, makes seasonal product decisions, and collaborates closely with Design, Sales, Planning, Sourcing, and the regional markets. This role will give you in-depth insights into global product development, merchandise allocation, and market steering. 

What you can expect:

• Analysis of market and competitor data to derive assortment decisions
• Support in the evaluation of product samples, color concepts, and material concepts
• Support in the creation of seasonal plans, forecasts, and budget overviews
• Analysis of sales figures, trends, and stock levels to manage global product availability
• Creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses
• Preparation of presentations for go-to-market meetings, seasonal kick-offs, and management reviews
• Maintenance of article master data, product information, and global merchandising databases

Your profile:

• Studies in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Textile Management, Economics, or a comparable field
• Very strong analytical skills and high affinity for numbers
• Confident use of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic analyses) and ideally PowerPoint
• Strong interest in fashion, product development, merchandising, or international retail
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and a structured way of working
• Very good command of English
