München: Working Student - Group Accounting (all genders)

About the role 

We are looking for a Working Student to support our team. The Working Student plays an important role in supporting the group accounting team on its mission to ensure financial reporting accuracy for a company with multiple subsidiaries, segments, and international operations in the renewable energies industry. You will work with colleagues across the world in a role that goes beyond traditional accounting tasks.   

What you will do 

•    You assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reportings as well as the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS

•    You support the master data maintenance in SAP-BO FC and other systems with a focus on the preparation for consolidation (e.g. scope of consolidation), as well as participation in the further development of the financial closing process in SAP-BO FC and in other digitalization projects

•    You support the further development of the group accounting guidelines

•    You analyze and prepare figures for external and internal reporting

What you’ll need to succeed 

•    Currently undergoing business studies, preferably specializing in accounting, controlling, or auditing

•    Business fluent in German and English

•    Strong team spirit

•    Problem-solving skills and good communication skills

•    Analytical understanding and an independent, structured way of working, with high quality standards for your own work
