Your role at Dynatrace

As a Frontend Software Engineering Intern, you will support our teams in building modern web user interfaces using JavaScript and React. You will work on real features, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain hands‑on experience in Frontend development while continuously learning and growing.

Our goal is to support your growth and development in a creative and innovative environment while setting you up for a successful career launch. 

What will help you succeed

• Current studies in Software Engineering / Computer Science (University / FH). 
• First hands‑on experience in Frontend development, gained through studies, projects, internships, or personal work
• Knowledge of JavaScript and initial experience working with React
• A proactive mindset – you take initiative, show curiosity, and actively contribute
• Availability to work on-site 4 days / week 
• Strong English communication skills 
• Creative team player with an independent working style and high-quality standards 
• Motivation to learn, improve your coding skills, and grow as a Frontend Engineer

Your CV and transcript of grades are mandatory. Please upload the most current version of both documents. 

We offer both Summer and Professional Internships across all our Austrian locations, ranging from a minimum of 4 weeks (HTL) or 6 weeks (University / FH) to a maximum of 6 months.  

Please note that we only consider students withfull-time availability (38.5 h / week) throughout the internship period. 

For the best application experience, we recommend using your laptop rather than a mobile device. 

Given the high volume of applications we receive every year, a few weeks will be needed to go through them and provide each candidate with a fair evaluation.

Compensation and Rewards

We offer a monthly gross salary of 2,632 for University and FH students.
