In our Data Science Trainee Program, you’ll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and drive digitization and the integration of intelligent technologies in the financial sector.

• As a Data Science Trainee in our Key Area Big Data & Advanced Analytics, the digital heartbeat of Commerzbank in Frankfurt, you’ll support experienced Data Scientists in analyzing and transforming complex data to generate valuable insights.
• You’ll train, test, and optimize AI models to enhance their efficiency.
• From the very beginning, you’ll participate in developing sustainable and tailored solutions that combine technological innovation with the entrepreneurial goals of the bank.
• You’ll formulate relevant questions and use cases based on specific requirements and create and evaluate predictive models for data-driven decision-making processes.
• With your programming experience, you’ll develop model training processes and integrate AI models into cloud infrastructures to ensure their scalability.
• During your trainee experience, you’ll learn to analyze complex data purposefully, implement AI models efficiently, and create innovative solutions that lead to sustainable results.

Self-selected practical phases, a mentoring program, and opportunities for international assignments will support you in achieving this.

Dein Profil

• Completed Master’s degree (Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar)
• Basic understanding of machine learning methods and working with databases
• Practical experience in exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with the application of generative AI and initial experience with LLM-based agents
• Initial experience in software development and programming skills in Python
• Innovative mindset with the ability to quickly grasp challenges and creatively develop solutions
• Enjoyment in working in agile and intercultural teams and advancing projects together
• Fluent English and German language skills – at least B2 level
