Stuttgart: Internship – Product & AI Engineering (Agentic Automation)

What this is about

You will contribute to an innovation-driven product that applies agentic AI architectures and end-to-end orchestration to a complex core after-sales process. The focus is on combining cooperating AI agents, deterministic logic, and orchestration workflows to support large-scale, market-specific decisions in a transparent and governed way. Working on a real proof-of-concept in an enterprise environment, you will help integrate agent workflows and system interfaces that enable controlled automation and explainability.

What you will do

• Work hands-on on an AI-driven proof-of-concept for core after-sales processes
• Support the implementation and testing of PoC components such as data products, machine learning models, agent workflows, or UI elements
• Combine technical contributions with project and PMO support (planning, coordination, documentation)
• Help structure tasks, track progress, and prepare status updates and workshops
• Collaborate closely with software, data, AI, and business teams
• Contribute ideas and help turn them into working solutions

What you will learn

• How agent-based systems are designed, orchestrated, and integrated into real enterprise processes
• How AI agents, deterministic business logic, and workflow orchestration interact in multi-step decision flows
• How to structure and deliver a technical proof-of-concept, from architecture and implementation to validation and presentation
• How to collaborate with international, cross-functional teams across multiple locations worldwide
• How project and delivery management (PMO) works in an agile IT environment, including planning and structuring of tasks, dependency tracking, and status reporting
• How to prepare decision-ready documentation and stakeholder updates, balancing technical detail with management-level clarity 

The activity can begin from July 2026.

Qualifikationen

What you bring

• Ongoing studies in Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in AI, software development, and modern IT solutions; initial experience with AI is a plus
• Programming experience (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
• A structured mindset, curiosity, and motivation to work on innovative topics
• Very good English skills; German is a plus 

Please note that your internship at this location must be mandatory.
