With almost 20,000 employees, we build the heart of our cars in six plant sections at the Untertürkheim plant: high-quality and future-oriented engines, transmissions and axles for all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.
Would you like to support and accompany the Powertrain plant in Untertürkheim on its path to transformation in operational HR management? If you are familiar with the terms transformation and digitalization and would like to help shape the exciting time of technological change on the HR side, we look forward to receiving your application. If you also have a sense of humor and enjoy working in a team with nice colleagues, you've come to the right place.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Due to changes in product strategies, the employment structures at the Untertürkheim plant are also changing - here you will support us with the resulting personnel concepts in order to place the affected employees in new areas of work
- These personnel concepts are developed, coordinated and implemented together with the managers and works councils in compliance with the underlying company agreements. It is important to use transparent tracking to ensure that we have an overview of the implementation status of all personnel concepts at all times and can manage personnel flows accordingly
- We work closely with our partner areas such as remuneration, employment policy and HR coordinators in the specialist departments so that you also gain insights into these areas
- In addition to the HR-side transformation activities, you will also gain an overview of operational HR management at the Untertürkheim plant - here you will support cross-team events and projects
- Degree in business administration, economics, humanities and social sciences; ideally with a focus on human resources/labor law or a comparable course of study
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
Please note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.
