Job Description
- During your internship you will gain an insight into the development of acceleration sensors, which are silicon-based micro-electromechanical-systems (MEMS), and into the development of the latest generation of sensors. We regularly offer project-related tasks.
- You will gain experience in sensors, micro-electromechanical-systems (MEMS) and application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC), as well as the associated measurement technology, including an introduction to the current state of the art.
- Furthermore, you will be involved in planning and implementation of experiments, simulations, analysis of big data, machine learning and automation of measurement technology.
- Last but not least, you will present your experimental results and evaluations about the performance of prototypes or high-volume models to the development team.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field ofElectrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Computer Science or comparable technical/scientific studies
- Experience and Knowledge of programming and simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C) as well as experience in laboratory measurements, data analysis and evaluation, measurement technology
- Qualification: driving licence class B (valid in Germany, optional)
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a committed, goal-oriented, structured and independent team player
- Enthusiasm: interested in MEMS-based sensors and new technologies
- Languages: fluent in English, German is an advantage

Duration: 5 - 12 months
