The Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg is an important part of the powertrain production network and a high-tech location for drive components for electromobility. In addition, there are the traditional product fields, ranging from axles and axle components to steering columns and lightweight structural parts through to exhaust technology components. At least one product from the Hamburg plant is installed in every Mercedes-Benz passenger car.
Mercedes-Benz quality management is responsible for the worldwide customer satisfaction of millions of vehicle users. We ensure quality that will continue to delight our customers tomorrow. In the Quality Planning team at the Hamburg site, we are responsible for the quality of all new product projects at the plant. During your six-month internship with us, you can expect exciting practical insights into quality management at the interface between product development, production planning and production. After a detailed induction, you will take on your own tasks alongside our quality experts.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Participation in the individual phases of a project
- Carrying out independent subtasks in the projects
- Preparation and presentation of analysis data
- Use of all current quality tools
Professional qualifications:
- Degree program: Engineering or a comparable degree program
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident handling of MS Office and interest in digital systems and their further development
Personal skills:
- High level of commitment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
