Who will you be joining?
Located at Allianz's Headquarters in Munich, the Global Sustainability (GS) function drives the sustainability strategy of Allianz Group, it integrates climate, environmental, social, and governance considerations in our business and operations.
As a working student, you will be part of the sustainability regulation team within GS. The team focuses on the fast evolution of sustainability regulation to keep top management and the entire organization informed and support effective implementation across the Allianz Group with consistency end effectiveness. Our sustainability regulation platform secures regular interaction with all internal stakeholders at Group and OE level on newest developments. We actively contribute to the regulatory debate with expert opinion derived from our experience and insights from implementation of all types of sustainability regulation across the value chain of the Group.
This also includes integration of sustainability in the Allianz corporate rules book and active support to respective reporting efforts. We currently explore the use of GenAI for efficiency gains in regulatory reporting of sustainability integration in the Allianz corporate rules book.
How can you make an impact?
As a working student/intern, you will:
- Support oversight, communication and transparency on regulatory developments in the field of sustainability with reports, presentations to different internal stakeholders and internal guidance/training content on implementation of regulatory changes
- Help organize and document regular interaction with Group Center functions and OEs for information sharing and exchange on sustainability regulation and governance
- Assist with project management for monitoring the status of sustainability regulation integration in Allianz’s internal corporate rules book with appropriate documentation
- Work on the use of GenAI to efficiently drive and monitor sustainability integration into the organization’s internal governance system with particular focus on the corporate rules book
- Help with day to day tasks and operations
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor in Public Policy or Economics or Sustainability related studies with focus on EU regulation
- Enrolled at university and residing in Germany for the whole period of employment
- Office 360 with experience in excel and powerpoint to manage information effectively
- Initial experience in use of artificial intelligence
- Keen interest in Sustainability and related regulatory matters and governance

Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Affinity for new technologies, AI and Sustainability
- Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
