Intern (f/m/d) Avionics Production
Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (f/m/d) Avionics Production. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in demanding prototyping efforts that are supported by major, time-and-cost-critical test campaigns allowing us to close short-iteration development cycles at fast pace. We are currently in the process of building our production structures, and your contribution will play a crucial role in shaping their success. Your Tasks
- Support Production Setup: Assist in the establishment and optimization of new production structures, contributing to the development of efficient workflows and processes.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the inspection and quality control processes to ensure that avionics products meet industry standards and specifications, with a focus on helping shape these new procedures.
- Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining detailed records of newly developed production processes, test results, and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Technical Support: Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the initial phases of production setup, working closely with engineers and technicians.
- Process Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative production processes, influencing the development of efficient and scalable systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze early-stage production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and assist in making informed decisions to optimize the evolving production workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to help build and refine the production environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in setting up inventory management systems for components and materials, ensuring efficient supply chain operations as production scales up.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to the establishment of a safe and compliant working environment.
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree in production engineering, aerospace engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Basic knowledge of avionics systems, electronics, or related technologies. Familiarity with CAD software, circuit design, or embedded systems is a plus.
- Previous experience or coursework related to manufacturing, production processes, or avionics systems is advantageous but not required.
- Motivation to participate in NEW Space
- Knowledge in production processes
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
