This challenge awaits you:
The number of vehicle functions and their degree of connectivity is subject to constant growth. This is primarily driven by factors such as e-mobility, autonomous driving, digitalization and regulations such as UNECE. In the same way, the HV system of a modern vehicle is also subject to increasing complexity, which in turn requires the analysis and understanding of the chains of action and error paths. This requires the constant new and further development of methods in analysis as well as the structuring and documentation of information obtained in order to make it reusable in the further development process. We need support in researching and implementing suitable analysis processes and in day-to-day project business.
Your Tasks:
- You will familiarize yourself with the topic of HV systems and the specific customer-specific architecture.
- You will focus on methods of system analysis (chains of effects, error paths, fault tree analysis, system modeling if necessary) with regard to the structured representation of system interrelationships.
- You will also familiarize yourself with system integration processes (integration processes, system specifications, system tests, reporting).
- You will examine the applicability of methods to specific project requirements.
- You will be responsible for the prototypical implementation of methods and workflows, e.g. in the area of "troubleshooting in the HV system".
- You present the results to internal users.
- You test internal tools and tests and take over the new and further development of small tools (VBA, Python, CASL, ...).
- You support the daily project business.
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study
- Basic knowledge of the functions of HV systems in vehicles (e.g. energy supply and charging)
- High level of self-motivation and hands-on mentality
- Ability to think outside the box
Desired Skills:
- Basic understanding of distributed systems, functions and system architectures or a high level of motivation to familiarize yourself with them
- Initial experience with various communication technologies in modern vehicles (e.g. CAN(FD), Flexray, Ethernet, SOME/IP, PLC)
- Programming skills and experience with scripting languages such as Python or CAPL/CASL
