Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.
Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
Our "Development Automated Driving Functions ADAS/ AD" team is looking for an intern / working student to support us on the project of " Adaptive Cruise Assist" development for the next generation in the Premium Platform Electric (PPE).
We work on the longitudinal control part and the HMI of the system in a very open environment. Part of the process entails test drives and this generates vast amounts of data which require evaluations in a timely manner.
Join us and you will get the chance to support us while diving into the world of automated driving and mobility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop Python scripts for further automating the evaluation of vehicle data
- Integrate image/video classification techniques to enhance analysis capabilities
- Reviewing code components authored by other colleagues
- Develop ideas to further advance the automation level of the data analyses
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student ( with good academic performance) in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or equivalent field
- Proficient knowledge in Python
- Familiarity with image processing and plotting libraries
- Knowledge in machine learning principles and algorithms, especially in terms of image or video classification
- Proactive and team-player mindset
- Fluent in English and German
