Intern/working student (m/f/d) Flight Software Testing
Our guidance, navigation and control department is searching for a motivated Intern Flight Software Testing. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.
Your Tasks
- Designing, developing, and constructing testing platforms to effectively validate Guidance, Navigation and Control software
- Creating software that enables running tests within a Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL, HIL) environment
- Develop tools that allow for frequent and dependable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as components of a continuous integration and release system
- Analyse test results and identify flaws that demand extensive scrutiny with engineers throughout the organisation
- Collaborate closely with developers to deliver a dependable, speedy, precise and user-friendly unified testing platform
- Integration and troubleshooting of Avionics hardware/software through on-site participation
- Identify areas for improvement in the testing systems and devise innovative solutions
Your Qualifications
- Current student in electrical, mechanical, software engineering or related discipline
- Experience in any of the following languages: Python, C++, MATLAB, LabView
- Resourceful problem solver capable of integrating multiple disciplines, assessing risk and making design and development decisions with limited data availability
- Experience in Python and Bash scripting languages as well as CI/CD processes
Experience working with electronic components, wire harnesses, and electrical testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) - Understanding network-based communication protocols and their accompanying debugging tools
- Capable of hands-on work with Avionics Hardware and Mechanical Systems
- Knowledge of CAD tools is considered advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere
- Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
