The AGC Biologics Downstream-Processing department in Heidelberg is seeking a motivated student to complete an interesting bachelor's thesis project. The student will work in the field of microbial fermentation and chromatographic purificatio with a focus on downstream process development.
The current bachelor's thesis topic:
"Optimization of an industrial manufacturing process for a process protein"
Aims of the Bachelor Thesis:
- Improving a fermentation strategy in E.coli
- Opimizing the scalability of the purification process
- Monitoring safety related impurities
- Determining the activity of the process protein
Your profile:
We are searching for a bachelor student with background in biotechnology or related fields, who is eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the industry. The bachelor's thesis is designed to last 3 months.
