Munich Re Facultative and Corporate (F&C) is looking for a motivated part-time intern for the Business Development team. MR F&C is a global business unit responsible for single-risk business written as facultative reinsurance or direct. Since its foundation in 2019, MR F&C has significantly and profitably grown its portfolio. F&C's ambition is to be one of the growth and result drivers of the MR Group and to be the predictable partner for our clients, using our expertise to create solutions and grow a diversified portfolio. Business Development is an integral part of F&C's ambition. The tasks of the team are broad. The team has a global mandate and supports all lines of business and the regions of F&C. This part-time internship position requires 20 hours per week, starting on December 2nd, 2024, and lasting a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension. Please note that the first 1-2 months will be full-time.
Your Job
- Support of current F&C-wide projects.
- Conducting market, as well as competitor analyses for our management and underwriting teams - analyzing, summarizing, and visually presenting the results.
- Further development and technical improvement of our analysis tool for systematic market assessment and identification of potential customers.
- Pre-, during- and post-events: conceptualization, organization, facilitation, moderation, and documentation.
- Supporting the set-up of cross-business Learning & Development content and training sessions.
Your Profile
- You are about to complete your bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in (business) information systems, (business) engineering, or business administration/economics with a focus on finance, accounting, or a comparable field of study with above-average academic performance
- You have gained initial work experience in the finance, consulting, or industry sector through internships
- Experience in sales or marketing is an advantage
- Very good analytical skills, a structured way of working, and fast comprehension skills
- High level of motivation and commitment, strong communication skills as well a sense of responsibility
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
