Overview of the company

In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.
You will get an insight in
Supporting the Group Sustainability Department of OMV in an international working environment, e.g.
o Do research on sustainability related topics and present your results o Sustainability reporting related tasks (collecting, preparing and presenting internal and external data) OMV OMV
o Support with the implementation of the CSRD and the EU Taxonomy o Support with ESG risk analysis and management
o Update company’s ESG ratings, benchmarking with peers o Get an insight in making calculations, plausibility checks and work with numbers in Excel
o Support the team with everyday tasks
o Prepare documents and presentations
o Organize meetings and keep track of deadlines and work progresses Be part of ongoing changes in the company and contribute with your own knowledge and ideas Developing further competencies beside applying your theoretical knowledge Build an understanding on the impact of key issues for businesses relating to climate change and sustainability
What we are looking for
You are a currently enrolled student
You are fluent in English (German is a plus)
Confident handling of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
You are self-confident in your abilities and can integrate well into a team
You work precisely and independently
You have an analytic, research, presenting, organizational /administrative and creative skill

Compensation between 1.300,- and 1.400,- depending on your level of education
